Athletics Day

Hello bloggers. On Tuesday the 19th of November we had our annual Athletics Day for the whole day. The whole school did it. The weather on the day was sunny and cloudy. We do Athletics Day every year so we can have fun and try to go into zones. We also got to know other children in our group. House points were given to people who gave respect and had good sportsmanship.


My favourite event was long jump because I can try to jump longer. I am really good at long jump and I can jump really far. Also, I got three turns at it. This is what we did. First we would line up across the trees. Secondly, the first two people in front of the line would stand at the climbing frame. Third, the first person who went to the climbing frame would run up to the mat on next to the sandpit. Then they would jump instantly on the green horizontal line in the middle of the mat. We repeat this until it was time to switch rotations.
